Toronto 2011: IFC Films Accumulates '4:44 Last Day on Earth'
Following on its purchase of Night time Madness title The Incident, IFC Films has acquired its northern border American privileges to 4:44 Last Day on the planet, the most recent pic from Abel Ferrara.Related Subjects•Toronto Worldwide Fil... The film opened in the Venice Film Festival and can screen in the approaching NY Film Festival the offer was introduced at TIFF. The ensemble drama stars Willem Dafoe, Shanyn Leigh, Paz p la Huerta and Natasha Lyonne and analyzes how people would react knowing Earth¹s final hour was approaching. It's been referred to like a "mournful valentine" to NY. The film was created by Fabula, Funny Balloons and Wild Bunch. Ferrara authored the script. Wild Bunch repped the film within the deal. IFC's genre arm IFC Night time acquired its northern border American privileges towards the horror movie The Incident. The film opened Monday evening, where a few audience people apparently fainted because of the intense violence within the movie. Directed by Alexandre Courtes, the film follows a trio of cooks who get trapped with inmates in an asylum for that criminally insane throughout bad weather.
